Sensitizer for Emulsion Explosives Production - Yanheal 550 Z

Sensitization is a crucial step in the production of emulsion explosives and also a technically challenging aspect. Primarily based on hot spot theory, it involves adjusting the density of the emulsion explosive by trapping gas or adding enclosed solids that carry gas, thereby improving its detonation sensitivity.

Physical sensitization mainly involves incorporating gas-carrying solid particles into the emulsion matrix, maintaining a certain quantity and uniform distribution of gas-containing or cavity-containing solid particles.

Because closed-cell perlite possesses closed-cell characteristics, it essentially does not suffer from oil absorption issues and does not experience a decrease in detonation sensitivity. Furthermore, due to its closed-cell nature, it does not have specific temperature requirements for sensitization and can be sensitized at high temperatures.
